Our company ENOSI AEBE, owner of the brand “Elisios”, was founded in 2019 from 4 cofounders with many years of experience in the whole chain of olive oil production processes, from olive oil cultivation to the marketing of the final olive oil product. 


Based on the region of Zacharo – Ilia, we are actively engaged with the processes of olive oil extraction, bottling and trading, within and beyond Greek borders

Description

The extra virgin olive oil “Elisios” comes from carefully chosen olive grooves of the region of Zacharo Ilia. Our olive grooves cover coastal and semi-mountainous areas, whose ground and climate are described as ideal for olive trees.

The acidity of the olive oil strictly ranges between 0.3 – 0.5 %, while it offers deep aroma and a light taste. During the whole process of extraction, bottling and storage we follow strict quality and safety guidelines and treat the product with excessive care, in order to ensure that the final product maintains all its nutritional benefits unaltered.

This product is available in bottles of 0.25L, 0.5L and 1L.

The olive oil extraction process is done in low temperature (cold extraction) without any addition of water, in order to ensure that its nutritional and qualitative characteristics (aroma, flavor) that make it unique, reach unaltered the final consumer. The acidity of the olive oil strictly ranges between 0.3 – 0.5 %, while it offers deep aroma and a light taste. During the whole “journey” of the olive, from the olive groove to olive oil extraction and bottling, we are paying great attention to ensure that all the safety and quality guidelines are strictly followed.

Our Certificates

We firmly believe that it is our duty to provide our customers with products of superior quality. Our olive oil’s quality is guaranteed, not only from our long tradition in the market, but also from the certificates that are awarded to us.

 

We are trying hard every day, to discover new ways to increase the transparency of all our processes and ensure the quality and traceability of our products.

Our facilities

Our facilities are located in the region of Zacharo – Ilia. This place, which previously housed the local agricultural cooperative, is established as a point of reference for all the agricultural activity in the area. Showing total respect to the history of the place, we are striving daily for its modernization, so as to be able to deal with the new agricultural challenges that may arise in the future. Thus, in a huge area in the entrance of Zacharo, we house our state-of-the-art olive mill, as well as our olive oil storage and bottling facilities.

The olive mill

Our olive mill is equipped with machines of the latest technology. It contains two autonomous production units with separators made by PIERALISI, each of them able to process 4 tones of olives per hour

All of our machines are made of stainless steel and other materials totally approved for food processing (food grade). In that way, we ensure that the quality and nutritional value of our products transfers unaltered to our consumers’ table. The extraction process is done in two-phases, guaranteeing high quality, as well as low water consumption.

The warehouses and the printing house.

Following its extraction, our extra virgin olive oil is stored in our facilities. Our food-grade stainless steel tanks, with total capacity that exceeds 800 tones, allow us to store extra virgin olive oil, without any risk of loss in terms of its quality (flavor, color, aroma) or its nutritional value.

Bottling and labelling are also two processes that are being carried on our facilities.
 
In a state-of-the-art unit, that strictly follows the highest safety and quality guidelines and standards, our extra virgin olive oil is being bottled and prepared to travel the world with the “Elisios” label on it, bringing the nutritional benefits of our land to the table of our consumers and promoting our it worldwide

Our Name

Zacharo

Our company operates on the broader area of Zacharo – Ilia in Greece. The mild Mediterranean climate of the area, combined with its heavy morphological variety, create an ideal environment for the growth of olive trees and the production of extra virgin olive oil of superior quality. These favorable climatic and morphological conditions make olive farming to be considered as one of the most important agricultural activities in the area, with a tradition that dates back to ancient times.

Koroneiki variety

Koroneiki variety, is the most popular variety of olive tree in Greece, having a share of over 60% of the Greek olive grooves. It can withstand low temperatures and has low demands in terms of care, although it offers the best olive oil in terms of quality. Its olives produce a light olive oil, foul of aromas, which also has a unique fruity flavor.
